“The gradual path of the Leadership Academy has led to an obvious improvement”
About the company
Culligan is a leader in the treatment and improvement of water quality, with a network that covers the whole of Italy and an operating heart in Bologna, where a team of about 1,000 people generates a turnover of 160 million euros. Part of a large international group with 10,000 employees, 192 offices and a global turnover of 4 billion dollars, Culligan offers solutions for homes and businesses, making water better and adapted to the needs of those who use it.
The challenge
With the transition to remote work after the pandemic, Culligan was faced with a common but not trivial problem: how to communicate better, especially remotely, and improve its processes. Not all managers were equally familiar with getting messages across in a clear and engaging way. This led to misunderstandings and the loss of precious time. There was a need for a change, to find a way to make communication easier, more direct and effective, both for online and in-person meetings.
The solution
Culligan chose Wibo mainly for two reasons: first, for the innovation of the training model, unique on the market for the flexibility between individual activities, which managers could carry out whenever they preferred, and live moments; second, for the involvement given by the gamification of the path, which made it, in the eyes of managers, not a boring mandatory activity, but a pleasant moment of professional and personal improvement.
The impact
The difference was immediately apparent. Internal communication has changed: it immediately became clearer, more direct and even more brilliant. The improvement was not limited to work, but it made the participants more secure and ready to manage communication even in contexts other than the professional one. More effective communication also means having created a better impression of the company for those who observed it from the outside, at various events, presentations and moments of sharing. Marco himself tells it in the clip below.
Conclusion
Culligan has found in Wibo an innovative model, capable of involving managers and adapting to their needs. The impact was immediate and positive and led to a concrete step in the direction of a simpler and more effective working life!
