About Frontiere
Frontiere is a network of companies formed in January by the merger of three large companies in the innovation sector: Alan Advantage, GreenVulcano Technologies, and Hueval. With the goal of reaching 15 million euros in revenue and doubling its workforce by 2025, Frontiere focuses on cutting-edge technologies, particularly in four verticals: Artificial Intelligence, Mobility Solutions, Enterprise Apps, and New Digital Solutions (Metaverse, Mixed Reality, Web3, and much more). The company has around 80 employees, including developers, approximately ten Innovation Managers, and professionals with expertise in various technologies.
The Challenge
As a joint venture of companies with different cultures, Frontiere faced the challenge of creating a unified and cohesive identity. The main obstacle was training "Frontiere managers" who would share a common methodology, starting from experiences in companies that were once separate entities with different cultures.
The Solution
Frontiere’s choice to collaborate with the Wibo Leadership Academy was driven by the desire for an agile, smart training program, with interactions with leading figures in the sector. The training particularly appealed to company decision-makers for its focus on building homogeneous teams and managing innovation.
What stood out about the training was the opportunity for managers to challenge themselves, experimenting with new leadership methodologies and techniques, while also seeking advice from more experienced figures.
The Impact
After the training sessions, managers began applying new methodologies, such as delegation and using different techniques to motivate teams. While change didn’t happen immediately, concrete attempts to implement new skills were observed. These changes were seen in both the already trained team leaders and the new participants, indicating a positive impact of the Wibo Leadership Academy on the vision and managerial skills within Frontiere.
What was particularly surprising was that the lessons learned were remembered over time and even experimented with months later.
