Tommaso Gamaleri
Head of Europe at Younited, board member at Assofin
Biography
After studying Economics and Commerce at Luiss Guido Carli, Tommaso Gamaleri expanded his skills with professional experience at Bain & Company, where he led the financial services and debt restructuring practice.
In 2007, he began working with Admiral Group Plc., a leader in the online insurance market in Europe, to launch the Italian business. Tommaso was one of the co-founders of ConTe.it, which became a major player in the online car insurance sector in Italy, with more than half a million customers and as a sponsor of ‘Lega Calcio Serie B’.
Since 2015, Tommaso has served as CEO for Italy and Eastern Europe at Younited, a European fintech specializing in consumer loans. Starting the operation from scratch in Italy, Younited issued its first loan in April 2016 and surpassed €200 million in loan production in 2018, all originated online.
In 2020, Tommaso became Head of Europe at Younited and in 2021 he was appointed Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of Assofin.
